It SHOCKS me to hear/read/see how many people think that the war ON TERORR is a mistake. Do we not remember how we felt in 2001 and the so called "rash" war plan we ASKED President Bush to pursue? Bush worked well with the situation that blew up infront of him and I think history will, in time, be good to him. We need to be in Iraq fighting the war we are currently in. Clinton already dropped the ball when he was in office and this LONG ongoing middle-eastern mess needs to be taken care of and is understandably going to take a considerable amount of TIME for peace to be established. We are fighting against terrorism for the human race. There are still bombings and mass genocide in those countries and what if we just pull out (give up) right now? Think about the Iraqi children watching the American troops leaving them stranded when their family's relied on them for safety -- I wonder if those children will grow up to be American allies.......hmm I'm guessing no.
My mom sent me this link the other day.......I'm willing to bet this guy remembered how he felt on September 11th, 2001.
